Main Duties & Responsibilities 

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team.  Working to support the Product Manager, the Product Owner will be working closely with the internal development team to deliver new features and enhancements to the current product offerings, bringing new software development into our Airbox products.

As a Product Owner, you will be working with the Agile development team, serving as the voice of the customer internally but also be relied on to engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and bring them to the Product team for review. You will, as part of the Product team, contribute to best practice of the team, raising new ways of working and evaluation of current processes.

  • Define and measure the impact of new features being considered for inclusion in a product release
  • Maintain a groomed backlog, prioritised on business value along with breaking down EPICs into user stories including the writing, refinement, and review of development
  • Manage stakeholders and requirements gathering (internal & external)
  • Work with a scrum team(s) made up of developers, QA, and scrum master to deliver requirements
  • Work with the Product Manager to ensure the roadmap is clearly defined
  • Write clearly defined user stories for new product features, issues, & future enhancements
  • Uphold the standards of security and reliability of software required by our customer base
  • Work alongside the Product Manager to support the planning and monitoring of releases   
  • Work with the Product Team to implement best practice processes and enhance current ways of working
  • Lead the refinement sessions with the development team to ensure multiple sprints of refined stories
  • Work with the developers to ensure that work done meets the acceptance criteria and wider goals of Airbox.

Key Requirements 

Essential

  • Established experience as a software Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience in a user focused environment with the ability to manage stakeholders
  • Requirement gathering, managing product backlog, planning sprints etc.
  • Proven business documentation skills
  • An excellent communicator who can translate the everyday requirements to technical deliverables - and translate back again
  • A team player who delivers through collaboration
  • Ability to work without supervision and under pressure
  • Experience working within an Agile environment – ideally running sprints yourself
  • Experience writing User Stories
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and working with a development team

Beneficial

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As the Mobile Developer, you will be required to maintain and add additional features to our mapping and situational awareness product. It would be advantageous if you are also able to work with iOS (C#/XCode Interface Builder), Android (C# / Xamarin) and Windows C#/WinForms/ASP.NET). We maintain a common codebase in C# and use Xamarin to target iOS & Android platforms. Windows client and server side are developed with Visual Studio.

You will be joining a collaborative team, working closely with other internal stakeholders including other Software Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps and Product Owners. Our current tech stack includes C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, containerisation with Docker, AWS, Microservices, JavaScript, React and Xamarin for Mobile Development. We work to SOLID principles where possible and operate in an Agile methodology.

We don’t expect you to have experience with every technology listed here, but if you’re interested there is always an opportunity to learn (and we give all our Developers access to Pluralsight just for this reason!).

  • Maintain and add additional features to our mapping and situational awareness product.
  • Collaborating with the wider development team to deliver quality software projects
  • Analysing application specifications and technology approaches to ensure business requirements are met

Key Requirements

Essential

  • Experience building mobile applications across iOS and Android using Xamarin
  • Experience coding with C#
  • Experience in Design Patterns in either MVVM or MVP
  • A knowledge and experience of working to development best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of object orientated programming
  • Communicates comfortably with internal stakeholders and immediate team.
  • Experience in using GIT source control (Branching, Pull Requests, Merge and rebase)
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile practices
  • Comfortable working in a green field site which iterates and changes rapidly
  • Ability to work without supervision and under pressure

Desirable

  • 2D graphics experience
  • Knowledge of GIS systems
  • UI / UX
  • Experience with XCode / iOS development
  • Experience with Android Studio
  • ASP.NET
  • Experience building web-applications in a microservices environment
  • Experience or knowledge in TDD unit testing
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of NoSql databases (e.g. MongoDb)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage internal supplier process in line with company policy and implement any improvements to processes as agreed, ensuring that we have completed full due diligence and have signed terms of agreement with all suppliers
  • Create any supplier payments in line with agreed terms
  • Export and reconciliation of all financial information put through the Spendesk system
  • Upload all invoices submitted to finance email address to Spendesk system to go through the correct approval process
  • Team expense reimbursement via Spendesk system
  • Daily accurate reconciliation of all Xero transactions including foreign currency accounts and resolution of any differences
  • Ensuring all financial records are accurate and kept up to date
  • Financial reporting, as required
  • Filing of all financial paperwork electronically (paper copies should be scanned and saved electronically)
  • Working in line with set annual budgets
  • Regular royalty, sales and client reporting, as required
  • Provide support to Commercial Finance Manager (CFM), as required
  • Keeping the CFM updated on any potential issues
  • Create and issue client quotes and accompanying terms of service document and update CRM system
  • Create sales invoices and update CRM system
  • Liaise with clients as invoices become close to due to ensure prompt payment, and follow up any overdue payments
  • Follow up client contracts to ensure we have signed terms and conditions in place for each and every contract, updating this information in the CRM system

 

Key Requirements

Essential

At least 4 years experience in similar finance role (finance administrator, bookkeeper or similar) including:

  • Relevant experience of managing, maintaining and reviewing computerised records within a finance function
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Strong numeracy, administrative, planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of using online financial systems, ideally Xero.
  • Highly competent with a range of IT packages (e.g., Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in using Spendesk is desirable
  • Previous experience with client contracts is desirable
  • AAT Level 2 or above is not essential but would be an advantage
