Current Vacancies

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team.  Working to support the Product Manager, the Product Owner will be working closely with the internal development team to deliver new features and enhancements to the current product offerings, bringing new software development into our Airbox products.

As a Product Owner, you will be working with the Agile development team, serving as the voice of the customer internally but also be relied on to engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and bring them to the Product team for review. You will, as part of the Product team, contribute to best practice of the team, raising new ways of working and evaluation of current processes.

  • Define and measure the impact of new features being considered for inclusion in a product release
  • Maintain a groomed backlog, prioritised on business value along with breaking down EPICs into user stories including the writing, refinement, and review of development
  • Manage stakeholders and requirements gathering (internal & external)
  • Work with a scrum team(s) made up of developers, QA, and scrum master to deliver requirements
  • Work with the Product Manager to ensure the roadmap is clearly defined
  • Write clearly defined user stories for new product features, issues, & future enhancements
  • Uphold the standards of security and reliability of software required by our customer base
  • Work alongside the Product Manager to support the planning and monitoring of releases   
  • Work with the Product Team to implement best practice processes and enhance current ways of working
  • Lead the refinement sessions with the development team to ensure multiple sprints of refined stories
  • Work with the developers to ensure that work done meets the acceptance criteria and wider goals of Airbox.

  • Communicates comfortably with internal stakeholders and immediate team     
  • Develops long term and robust relationships both internally and externally
  • Able to translate client needs to enable setup and transition of relevant Airbox products
  • Able to ask questions and seek solutions for client issues or problems

Key Requirements 

Essential

  • Established experience as a software Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience in a user focused environment with the ability to manage stakeholders
  • Requirement gathering, managing product backlog, planning sprints etc.
  • Proven business documentation skills
  • An excellent communicator who can translate the everyday requirements to technical deliverables - and translate back again
  • A team player who delivers through collaboration
  • Ability to work without supervision and under pressure
  • Experience working within an Agile environment – ideally running sprints yourself
  • Experience writing User Stories
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and working with a development team

Beneficial
